The inspiration for this track came from Gerome's curiosity to discover and to believe that there is more than planet earth. He wanted to discover the outer space, the moon, the sun and all the planets within our solar system and beyond.

The pluck melodies in this track transferred Gerome to outer space, travelling along on the ambient pads, and an amazing breakdown that touches you with emotion.

We hope this track also gives you such a journey and beyond. This is sure to put a smile on any Trance lover's face.

This is the first track from Jack dB, titled 'Artificial Flavour'. This track is driven by dirty beats, tech bass-lines and pounding rhythmic glitches.

Jack's main passion has been hard dance and how the Techier side of it has led him onto Tech Trance. Jack has been influenced by the Organ Donors, because they make both Tech Trance and Hard Dance. These days Jack says that Eric Strong is his favourite Tech Trance producer.

The release comes with a varied selection of Trance remixes from James Williams, Nino Kattan, Anees, Andy Elliass and Bilal El Aly.

With the awesome success of Gerome feat Pamela Baz - Miracle (Guy Alexander Progressive Mix) climbing to the number 11 then number 6 position in the top 100 Progressive downloads after entering at number 68 on the Armada download site last month. Guy Alexander quoted: "Its absolutely amazing that its still climbing the download, thank you so much if you have bought a copy. I really appreciate the support!"

This sparked off an amazing start to the careers of Gerome Mouwad, Pamela Baz and Guy Alexander not to mention the other remixers involved James Dymond, Liquid Vision and Old Fix.

This week saw Pamela Baz's first interview on Radio One 105.5, Lebanon's Number One radio station and airing of the (Guy Alexander Progressive Mix) to the Lebanese airwaves.

Radio One, Lebanon, was established in 1983 by Raymond Gaspar and rapidly became, and continues to be, the leading foreign radio station. With English Music programming as its main feature, Radio One provides the very best radio entertainment in the Lebanon.The only station in the Lebanon that has successfully developed other services in the field of media and entertainment.

Hope all is well and everyone enjoyed the last of the summer sun last week. Winter is upon us but what better way to warm the heart with some news of support for our latest release.

Following on from the recent Armada / Audio Jelly download chart success of his first ever remix for the Gerome Feat Pamela Baz - Miracle reaching No.6 Position in the Progressive Download charts, Guy Alexander brings us his first ever production titled 'Ava'. Written in Uplifting Trance Style and inspired by the birth of his daughter also named 'Ava'. This release is available from Audio Jelly / Armada Downloads from the 27th October 2011.

Digital Insomnia helps boost Artist career and signs to Armada

Digital Insomnia Recordings are proud of this young producer and to have helped him climb so high in such a short period. For myself being a music teacher for a number of years and also running the label single handedly for many years this is a great thing to see. Although I have not had any part in James Dymond's music tutoring, it is still a great honour to have helped him by utilising his skills as a remixer for projects within our label.

I am personally proud to have had a major part and impact on this young producers career in such a short space of time.

In summer mood Digital Insomnia Recordings presents something completely different in a new release by the accomplished tech-trance producer Nino Kattan. Love of Beirut is a tech-trance track with a distinctive Middle Eastern feel to it which will echo around the shores of the Mediterranean and the Arabian Sea this summer. It is released in three versions with a remix by Turkish producer Ancient Mind.

Love Of Beirut (Original Mix) combines Nino's distinctive techy vibes with a haunting vocal theme which will linger in your memory long after the track has finished.

Love Of Beirut (Progressive Mix) has a more progressive style which uses new sounds, rhythms and progressions.

All I Have Is Love (Original Mix) retains the punchy dark feel of the Original but has new lyrics and retains it's dramatic Middle Eastern feel.

Lastly the Ancient Mind Remix has taken the tech trance track and has produced a new mix with a classic trance atmosphere to it, containing rich textures and orchestral elements to heighten the pathos of the lyric.

Thursday 17th March 2011 saw our first release of 2011. Running Man - Outsider.

This track was produced with passion; inspired by the emotions and feeling of music from the Millennium.

It has been a while since we posted. A lot of exciting things have been going on at the DIR office.

Our latest movements bring about today good news. Following the good new of last week, Manuel le Saux supporting the Running Man remix of Taleamus - Closed Gates. This week we see Markus Schulz & Ton TB aka Three Drives, support the Arjona Remix.

This will be our last release of 2010, and we wish to thank everyone who has supported our artists and releases this year.

From sounds of the underground, comes the EP containing two dark and haunting originals that's ready to explore the evil sounds and feelings of trance.

"The title track 'Corrupted' was written when I started listening to the new and powerful sounds of driving trance, but now 2 years later I have revamped it. It takes an important role as the lead track on this release. The track is energetic from the word "Go!" but it constantly builds until the breakdown which is sure to send shivers down the spine. The track then builds and builds and then drops into the powerful driving rhythm which thumps throughout the rest of the track.

Dark morning is the second track on the EP and this was written during the cold winters of 2009/10 hence the name 'Dark Morning'. Once again like 'Corrupted' the track keeps building all the way through but this time the breakdown has a bit more of a sweet uplifting melody. This doesn't drag on for too long and before you know it, the track kicks right back in with its heavy driven bassline."

Both tracks will be sure to spook any clubbing audience but it will defiantly have that dance floor moving!

The release also comes with 5 remixes from Vlegal, Mr. DSC Funk, Ben Hunt and ex Pink Bomb and Rhythm Purists legend Darren Bayton each take a techy approach to the track but without losing the original's emotions. His remix and the Ben Hunt Sunrise Mix take a softer approach but really let the feel of the vocal come through.

Yesterday we launched our latest promo release from Bluesolar based in Hungary.

Bluesolar - 'Chemistry' - "When music alone is not enough"

This release is a Tech Trance Fuelled Floor Filler.

The track starts off with a heavy paced beat and rhythm that makes you want to take your place on the dance floor to honour the DJ. Then the dark moody chorded pad structure starts to take you somewhere on an emotional journey only to be bought back to Tech Heaven reality as the beats slam back in. The rest is up to you to decide.

2009 has seen Bluesolar making their way in the EDM scene with a string of releases and remixes appearing on Andromeda Recordings and a new single out in November called "Sunset Highway".

Their work is starting to gain support by top DJ's. Tillmann Uhrmacher, Suzy Solar, Manuel Le Saux to name but a few.

Just a quick message to say hope your all doing well and getting things done.

Been a busy day again in the DIR office. I didn't get to sleep until 6am UK time this morning. Woke up to miserable rain. Then the sun finally came out at 8.44pm just as it was time to go down. But it was a wonder sunset. Makes you glad to be alive and appreciate this wonderful universe we live in.

Well, back to work for an hour, then time to relax for the evening.
